Salary: Circa AED 15,000, OTE 30,000 + Bonus & Bens
Dubai based investment banking and advisory house seeking an associate with solid transaction experience to support burgeoning deal flow.
With multiple active M&A mandates in the GCC and Africa across professional services, hospitality, infrastructure and others and ongoing advisory assignments 2017 is already looking bright, but the firms’ rigorous principles in the intelligence applied, quality and thoroughness of their execution capability requires additional transactional support to ensure that standards are upheld.
We are seeking an associate to join the M&A team with a real pedigree in execution who will support the firm across multiple mandates acting from cradle to grave, supporting future pitches, but largely focused on the heavy lifting in the transaction from overseeing diligence, valuation modeling, running the data room and coordinating the agreements for final signatures at deal closing.

with all of the below criteria apply for this role without exception.
Essential Requirements:
•    You must have at least 3 years’ investment banking experience (not transaction services), ideally 5+ within an M&A team
•    You would have worked directly on the execution of at least 4 M&A transactions that have completed and 8 that will have come to closing stages.
•    You will be able to demonstrate a highly developed understanding of the transaction process
•    You will be able to demonstrate a very strong ability on financial/valuation modelling.
Non Essential but advantageous:
•    Exposure to the debt side of any transaction, if not DCM, then at least direct involvement with leveraged finance
•    Exposure to infrastructure transactions (power and utilities in particular)

Vacancy 2 – Job Description

The Company
My client focuses on majority stake investments and is looking to appoint an Investment Manager to a newly created role.
The Role
The role will sit in Dubai but will be a GCC regional role.
Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all investment research including valuation and modeling
  • Accountability for the identification of investment projects through oversight of market analysis and due diligence
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with banks, auditors and regulatory bodies
  • Ensuring tight compliance across corporate finance activity ensuring robust internal controls are in place
  • Providing ongoing financial reporting and investment memos to the board
  • Ensuring robust risk mitigation processes are in place for each investment

Salary: 55000-60000

Vacancy 3 – Job Description

The Arab Monetary Fund (AMF), is an Arab Regional Organization based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Its main objective is laying monetary foundations of Arab economic integration and accelerating the process of economic development in all Arab Countries. AMF is seeking to recruit a “Senior Investment Risk Officer” in the Treasury & Investment Department.

Job Purpose:
Oversee credit and market risks of investment portfolios by monitoring exposures across various asset classes for all investments associated risks, including ratings and limits to ensure that investments are within AMF investment objectives, risk tolerance, investment policy, guidelines, medium term investment strategy and investment plans. Report any exceptions to senior management accordingly.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Ensure various transactions (i.e. foreign exchange, debt securities, externally managed investments funds, … etc.) are monitored adequately to ensure that they are undertaken in accordance with the approved Investment Policy, guidelines, strategy and investment plans related to exposures.
• Monitor the portfolios through regularly reviewing the valuation, performance, characteristics and risk parameters relative to benchmarks in order to ensure the timely identification of irregularities and any potential discrepancies are defined along with their causes. Recommend appropriate course of action and available solutions to senior management.
• Stay up-to-date with financial markets developments in order to consider the implications of market movements on the Fund’s investment activities and assist in strategy setting and decision making regarding the allocation of investment resources.
• Conduct general research on risk exposure.


Qualifications and Practical Experience:
• Candidate should be of Arab origin.
• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Investment Management from a reputable and recognized university. Candidates holding master degree, CFA, PRM or FRM designations are preferable.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in investment and risk management.

• Ability to work under pressure.
• Professional use of Bloomberg, Reuters and other data services.
• Proficient in reports writing.
• Proficient in security analysis.
• Proficient in understanding financial markets.
• Proficient in credit and market risk analysis.
• Proficient in risk monitoring and analysis.
• Proficient knowledge of investment products.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English.
